Sunset Ridge "the fore runner of Nevis development Projects"

 

A symbolic ground breaking ceremony marked the commencement of LiveNevis Development Ltd’s new Caribbean resort project comprising of 14 luxury 3-bed villas at Sunset Ridge, Cades Bay, Nevis.   The ceremony was held on 22nd August at Sunset Ridge.   At the auspicious ceremony, Nevis’ Premier, the Hon. Joseph Parry revealed that LiveNevis is the first investment under the NRP in this new dispensation.   He congratulated LiveNevis Developments for the sight and confidence that they have demonstrated in the people of Nevis.   He said, “that the company, having established themselves will be the fore runner and the leader for all the other projects that would take place this year”.   The Hon. Joseph Parry went on to affirm that, “Sunset Ridge is one of the most beautiful sites on the island of Nevis and that it is a privilege to have LiveNevis Developments established here”.   He said that, “the government is pleased to associate ourselves with this development”, and that they “are pleased with the speed in which LiveNevis Developments have started their investments and how the company has involved themselves in the community in the form of cricket and other activities”.   Meanwhile, Paul Jarvis, one of the Directors of LiveNevis Developments Ltd. said that, “the aim of the company is to provide quality accommodation in a style that not only compliments the undoubted natural beauty of Nevis but also encourages cross integration of it’s residents into island life”.   He said that,”Sunset Ridge   would benefit the island’s economy helping to establish Nevis as one of the premier locations in the Caribbean to visit and live” adding that, “we would also be hoping to further our support for local causes in the field of sport and education as we believe that the future prosperity of Nevis can be best achieved through close relationships between the developer, the people and the administration of this beautiful island”.

 In the course of the ceremony representatives from LiveNevis Developments Ltd. presented the Nevis Independence Anniversary Committee with a token of EC$5,000.00 to help with the independence cleanup campaign, the cheque was received by the Deputy Premier, Hon. Hensley Daniel.   Cheques were also presented to the Nevis Girl Guide Association and Pink Lily Breast Cancer Care for Nevis.

Marketing Suite : The marketing suite is now under construction . When completed, visitors will be able view samples of the kitchen door fronts, work tops, tiles and other fixtures and fittings that come with each LiveNevis villa.   Our on-island Sales Manager, Fejona Herbert and Project Manager, Lee Hales will be located on site. They will be delighted to greet visitors, talk through any aspect of the development or just show off the wonderful views of St. Kitts. and the Caribbean sea from Sunset Ridge.

 

Revised Site Plan : In order to improve the ambience of the development and maintain a healthy environmental balance, LiveNevis Developments has decided to construct only 14 exclusive, luxury villas at its Sunset Ridge site.  The residents will now benefit from the use of communal parkland, and increases lot sizes which at no extra cost, will only augment the value of their purchase.

Sunset Ridge, Official Launch and Ground Breaking Ceremony to be held on Friday 22nd August at Sunset Ridge, Clifton Estate, Cades Bay, Nevis.   The event will be attended by Joseph Parry, the Premier of Nevis, Minister Carlisle Powell plus a host of dignitaries and local people to whom we would like to say thank you for their advice and support over the past 18 months.

Sunset Ridge is incorporated into the Economic Citizenship Program.  

The Ministry of Finance has granted approval for LiveNevis Developments Ltd’s Sunset Ridge project to be incorporated into the St. Kitts and Nevis Economic Citizenship Program. On purchasing property in an approved development such as Sunset Ridge, the owner of the property can then make the necessary application for economic citizenship. There are two main components to the process: real estate purchase and payment of a cash sum. For a minimum US$350,000.00 investment a prospective expatriate can tackle the first requirement. The cash sum is then US$35,047.00 for a single applicant, though a spouse and total of two dependent children can also gain citizenship for US$15,047.00 per person.

Jalousie, a local woodworking company, has been selected by LiveNevis Developments to handcraft windows, doors and kitchens for the Sunset Ridge Project.  The Company has paid special attention to creating products that reflect the traditional crafts found on Nevis.  The Company’s Managing Director, Stephen Varrow has reaffirmed his commitment to create a sustainable business for local craftsmen by investing in new premises and machinery.

Paul Jarvis, Construction Director and Sam Kearns, Sales and Marketing Executive presented Lea Parris, founder of Pink Lily Breast Care Nevis with a cheque at the charity’s launch at the Old Manor Hotel, Nevis.

 

Island news : Delta Airlines inaugural flight from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to St. Kitts on 16th February was almost 90 per cent booked.  The increased airlift to the island comes a mere 3 months after American Airlines’ new non-stop service between John F. Kennedy Airport in New York and St. Kitts.

Lee Hales – Project Manager, joins the LiveNevis Development team.

 

Lee Hales spent 17 years working as a Project Manager for a civil engineering company whose focus was on residential projects in the UK.  Lee moved to Nevis in 2002 to construct a 17,000 sq. ft. villa for a British client; he enjoyed the island lifestyle and its people ,so decided to stay.  Lee has been building luxury villas for the Four Seasons for the past 3 years.

 

 

Construction roads: The roads around Sunset Ridge have now been cut in preparation for the onset of construction.

LiveNevis Developments sponsors the 20/20 Cricket Tournament on Nevis.

The Honourable Carlisle Powell, a past Director of the West Indian Cricket Board, has invited LiveNevis Developments Ltd. to be the proud sponsors of the inaugural Nevis 20/20 cricket competition.   The competition, which will take place in October & November 2007, for a duration of 6 weeks. The matches to be played on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This will be the first of its kind in Nevis and is expected to create a great deal of excitement and a carnival atmosphere.
